The Lord has continued to show us His truths since my last post 10 months ago. I have been through a long period of illness (Lyme Disease) and still haven’t fully recovered. I was unable to go to work for almost a year and spent long periods just lying in bed unable to get up.  My faith was tested but thank Jesus that it never failed. We know that Jesus can heal us yet when He doesn’t it is hard to know how to react as  Christians. I chose to simply thank Him and praise Him every day and to trust that He knows best! Early on in my illness I was lying in bed, pretty ill and in pain, when I felt Jesus’ presence. I suddenly felt very calm and fell into a very peaceful sleep for a few hours. When I awoke I was still ill (He hadn’t suddenly healed me) but I just knew that I would get better, in His timing not mine!

And now, over a year later, I have returned to work and am 90% better – Thank you Jesus!

We are simply living one day at a time, trusting in Jesus. Our Father in heaven has and will continue to provide for us till Jesus returns, and He is returning real soon. End time prophecies are happening before our very eyes. The creation of the European Union!  The New World economic order (keep an eye on the G20) following the world financial crash is ever closer.  And keep an eye on America! This country’s economy is in the balance and the collapse of the $ dollar seems imminent. The Apostate Church is definitely here now with almost all the ‘organised’ churches following ‘doctrines of demons’. Many have been deceived! False teachers and prophets are everywhere. The Lord has shown us that the ‘Christian Church’ has been  totally infiltrated by the New Agers and Satanists and that witchcraft is rife.

This world is spiralling dowwards at an ever increasing speed and just as in the times of Noah and Lot the LORD must act soon. He will return to punish the world and I believe this time is close at hand. And I say ‘Lord, bring it on!’ Evil men are in control of events in the world and it is going to get much worse. But whatever they have planned can only happen if God allows it and in His timing so if you are a Christian don’t despair.

The Lord is calling His people out of ‘organised religion’ with its deceptive prosperity gospels and the like. If you hear His voice today, then obey Him and ‘come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins’ (Revelation 18:4). It can be a lonely path but a blessed one! ’Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach’ Hebrews 13:12-13

Jesus is coming back soon! We are called to ‘Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man’ Luke 21:36

Are you ready? Ready to face tribulation and suffering for Jesus? Because that will be the case for many of us. But our blessed hope is to be with Jesus in heaven and then to reign with Him on earth for 1,000 years.

‘For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord’ 1 Thessalonian 4:16-17.

‘And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away’ (Revelation 21:4)

This is our blessed hope and so I say, ‘Come quickly Lord Jesus’. Amen!

After discovering the pagan roots of Christmas I can hear  many ‘Christians’ saying, ‘Ok, we know Christmas is pagan in origin but we are celebrating the birth of Jesus and there is no harm in that. Is there?’

I used to think like that but when I discovered the truth I felt sick in the pit of my stomach!

Satan is the great deceiver and he has done a wonderful job in getting Christians to blasphene the Lord Jesus albeit unwittingly. It isn’t easy living in this fallen world. Deception is everywhere!  We need to pray for spiritual discernment so we can see the truth.

And remember also that the Bible tells us that God winks at our ignorance (Acts 17:30). What does this mean? Well I see it like this. Once we become aware that something is wrong and we change (or repent) of our actions/behaviour then the Lord overlooks our past mistakes.

Although we haven’t celebrated Christmas for a number of years it was only last night (24th December) that the Holy Spirit convinced me of the blasphemy in wishing someone ‘Merry Christmas’.

I have actually sent Christmas cards this season wishing friends and family a ‘Merry Christmas’ but I can tell you now that from now onwards the word ‘Christmas’ will not willingly be part of my vocabulary.

I love my Lord Jesus and do not want to do or say anything against Him.

After all, He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Hallelujah!

Will you be celebrating Christmas this year?

Will you be decorating your home and church, bringing a tree inside and sharing presents? 

Will you be burning the yule log, singing around the decorated tree, kissing under the mistletoe and holly, and attending a late night service or midnight mass?

If you do celebrate Christmas in this way then that’s your choice but if you call yourself a Christian then maybe you should look at the origin of all these customs.

Hi Guys, haven’t been able to blog for a while as I haven’t been very well.

I am receiving treatment for Lyme Disease, a rather nasty bacterial infection caused by a tick bite.

The upshot is that the symproms are wide and varied but one of the main ones is general fatigue and malaise.

Which means I can’t be bothered blogging anything of note!

But, I am still praising Jesus and am confident that if it is in God’s will I will make a full recovery.

And if I don’t? Well, I will still praise Jesus anyway, and thank Him and my Father in heaven for all he has done for me.

We’ve had quite a few new arrivals at Cowiemuir since my last blog and they are all of the feathered kind.

Daisybell, one of our hens, has always been prone to broodiness, especially in the summer and this year was no exception. We don’t have a cockrell so she could have sat on our girls’ eggs for ever and they wouldn’t have hatched out. Anyway, feeling sorry for old Daisybell we managed to obtain some fertile eggs from neighbouring folk and we placed these under Daisybell in her own ‘Broody Palace’

Three weeks later, the day before we were due to go on holiday, we were delighted to see Daisybell and her five new baby chicks.

She has turned out to be a really good mother and is as proud as punch with her new family. They are coming on fine although sadly, we did lose one. They are now 4 weeks old and we think we have one male and three females. I will post some more pics of the new chicks soon.

As well as the new chicks we have also welcomed 4 young Indian Runner Ducks into the family. Just 6 weeks old when we got them, they are really cute and have taken to their new enclosure like, well, ducks to water.

This is a pic of the girls on their first day with us. They were hatched in an incubator so don’t have a mummy to teach them all those ‘ducky ‘things but they are learning fast. In the 3 weeks we have had them they have trebled in size (more pics later) and we are looking forward to gathering our first duck eggs towards the end of the summer

And finally, I have already told you about my new Granduaghter, Lily. Well. she is now 4 months old and is really blossoming. We visited Lily and mum, Vicky at the end of June and they are both fine. This is my favourite pic of Lily.

 

And finally, finally! We managed to get about 80lb of honey from the Oilseed Rape fields and are just making final preparations for moving the bees to the heather.

The vegetable garden is bursting with crops (and weeds!) and it looks like we will get a good harvest this year.

We are sticking close to Jesus, living each day as it comes and trusting in Him to provide for all our needs – it’s so simple this way and stress free. And you know what – Jesus never lets us down! 

I was at a Church cell group meeting last summer when the topic of ecumenism arose and I was absolutely amazed at the lack of knowledge and discernment concerning the subject of Christian unity. No one had any knowledge of the Roman Catholic religion, nor what the protestant reformers were actually protesting against and why they fled from the Roman religion hundreds of years ago.

One of the guys in the meeting, who was frequently up at the front speaking to the rest of the church on Sundays even said, ‘I DON’T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, WE ALL WORSHIP THE SAME JESUS DON’T WE?’

THIS IS SO TYPICAL OF COUNTLESS NUMBERS OF CHRISTIANS WHO DO NOT READ THEIR BIBLES CAREFULLY OR CHECK OUT ANYTHING FOR THEMSELVES!!

THE TRUTH IS THAT WE DO NOT WORSHIP THE SAME JESUS! COME ON, WAKE UP OUT THERE AND SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH.

In writing about current deceptions can I assure you that I am not judging anyone, nor trying to look like a ‘know it all’, rather I simply want to warn others of the dangers involved. Sadly, the five solas have been forgotten by the vast majority of Chistians today, as millions chase after the latest ‘revival’ or latest move of God (why are they always in or originate in the USA?)

We’ve followed Jesus for nine years now and have met many ‘Christians’ in this time but I can honestly say that we personally only know two other Christians, a couple, who have not fallen for these end times deceptions. JUST TWO!!

I have received several responses to my last post which for various reasons I have decided not to publish.

I would like to say that there are I am sure many freemasons (even ‘Christian’ freemasons) who know nothing about the pagan origin and occultic practices associated with freemasonry and it is only the select few (those of 33 degree and above) who are Luciferian. The run of the mill freemason, who doesnt aspire to the higher levels, is simply deceived by their leaders and led into the occult without knowing, as he progreeses upwards.

On a more personal level, my last post didn’t accuse anyone of anything in particular. I merely pointed out the significance of pinetree, acacia, myrtle and box amongst freemasons. I am aware that these are words used in the Bible as well but it seemed more than co-incidental that they were all used together at the church we were attending.

So, I do believe there is a deception here! I do not however, know who is deceived, nor by whom, but I do know who is behind it – the deceiver, Satan.

Satan will use whatever means he can to lead people astray and to cause Christian folk, maybe unwittingly to pay homage to him, at the expense of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus.

And as a final comment on this subject I have not got an agenda against freemasons. I have compassion for freemasons as I do any who are misled.

In my opinion freemasons are just another group of people, like the Roman Catholics, Jehova Witnesses, Mormons, etc. who are being deceived and I earnestly pray that if you are a freemason you will see the truth and come to know the joy of serving the true Master, the Lord Jesus.

 

My Father in heaven is the Lord God Almighty, omnipotent in power, the one true God, creator of heaven and earth! The Lord Jesus is my Saviour, My Lord, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and He is alive forever. He is exalted on high, in glory, sitting at the right hand of the Father interceding for me and the Holy Spirit has been poured out on this world, and He is living in me.

And the really good news is that Jesus is coming back for His people real soon!

The Lord has revealed to me another deception, one that was too close for comfort for a while, and one from whence He brought us out of a while ago. When He showed us this revelation I initially felt sick in the pit of my stomach!
