Will you be celebrating Christmas this year?
Will you be decorating your home and church, bringing a tree inside and sharing presents?
Will you be burning the yule log, singing around the decorated tree, kissing under the mistletoe and holly, and attending a late night service or midnight mass?
If you do celebrate Christmas in this way then that’s your choice but if you call yourself a Christian then maybe you should look at the origin of all these customs.

Do not be deceived into worshipping or paying homage to anything or anybody other than our Lord Jesus Christ!
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Christmas wasn’t about exchanging gifts with each other but was about giving of ourselves to Christ for just one day?
Only man, the dust of the earth, could take a day meant to celebrate and give thanks to the Savior of this world but have instead made it a mockery. We give more thought to shopping for the perfect gift instead of giving honor to God for the real perfect gift of his only Son, Jesus!
Yet despite this, God so loved the world……..
